South Australian pre-civil births, marriages and deaths (CDs)

These CDs are collated records referring to births/baptisms, marriages and deaths in the era before civil registration commenced in South Australia (ie from mid 1836 to Jun 1842.

The records have been collected from many sources including parish registers, newspaper reports, headstones, inquest records, shipping records and submissions by members of the public via the Biographical Index of South Australians 1836 to 1885 (BISA).

Births
Used in conjunction with SA Births Indexes 1842–1906 this CD fills in the record of 19th century births in colonial South Australia.

Deaths
This particular CD complements SA unregistered deaths and SA lonely graves and used in conjunction with SA Death Indexes 1842–1915 fills in the record of 19th century deaths in colonial South Australia.

Marriages
Used in conjunction with SA Marriages Indexes 1842–1916 this CD fills in the record of 19th century births in colonial South Australia.
